cool thing: I got on the radio to weigh in on wearing shorts to a job interview!

uncool thing: they didn't give me the chance to explain WHY. not only does a bodycon shirt, sweater and "dress" shorts sound uncoordinated as a whole, you're supposed to dress one level ABOVE the dress code at the job. if they're business casual, you wear business professional. it would honestly have been better to wear slacks and short sleeves than a sweater and shorts.
