@dietotaku I mean, if he really can't go on, I respect that. He has done so very much to help. He stepped in when the country needed him. Whatever he chooses, he is a hero in my eyes. I just hope the Dems, if they replace him now will find someone who can win the race, and let him retire with dignity, if it comes to that.
@homebird I think that's the problem, we don't have anyone else with the charisma, the name recognition, and the political clout to mobilize the base and beat Trump. we don't have Obama 2.0. which is why we need Joe. /1
@homebird I would have zero qualms with him staying in through the election and then stepping down after to let Kamala fill his term. is she who I had in mind for our first female president? nope. but is forcing her through on a technicality the only way this bullshit country will accept a female president? most likely. /2
