who are these people and how have they missed an entire generation whose lives have been made so miserable by our predecessors that we long for the sweet release of death? we don't contemplate death with dread or pretend it's not inevitable, we contemplate it with anticipation. to quote one of the highest choirs of angels in one of the best religious movies ever made: "and then this failed experiment called existence will cease to be."
@dietotaku Driving I assume. Cause the subways are pretty great on Manhattan.
@sfleetucker they're also pretty crowded, and from what i hear they're almost never on time. i assume the majority of people driving/taking cabs into NYC (especially at rush hour) do so because they need to, not because they want to.
like, if you need the money and you're gonna do it in a way people HAVE to pay, just raise taxes on the rich.
that's not a criticism, that's just a statement of fact. a criticism would be to say that it's the most corrupt, malignant, and aggressively fascist in all of history.
