what's inconsistent about those views? "any country would respond this way. it's shitty and shouldn't happen, but that's how people are." I don't want anyone to be at war but I know that this is just how countries react - not with restraint, contemplation, self-reflection but with knee-jerk over the top violence.

no shit, most Americans aren't very liberal. the difference between where we disagree with the majority and where Republicans disagree with the majority is our views don't COST HUMAN LIVES.

just because no other ideological group has figured out that Palestinians are being actively eradicated while Israelis are not doesn't mean we're wrong. it means the decades-long campaign training people to associate any criticism of the Israeli govt with antisemitism has worked.
