I'm sorry but who didn't see this coming? I'm definitely not a fan of Meta or any of its spawn but frankly, they're commercial operations. They're not the ones usually posting news content, it's their users. I suspect that most of the views of news organizations are driven from sites like Facebook. Let's see how that works out.

@LtMcDies @Cdn_Skeptic_Wm there is something to be said for the benefit of news aggregation... for millions of people, Facebook IS the internet and the news they see there is the only news they ever see. I can't see the benefit in turning that off, all for profit that news orgs were never gonna see to begin with.
