WWII was in black and white. The 70s were in color. Shitty, faded pinkish color. At least that's how I remember it.

@dauphin87 I do not actually. i remember my youth as today. The fashions, TV , and radio, projects that illusion or color which i also remember.

A curious thing starts to happen once your quiet your mind- memories become more vivid, and precise.

@dauphin87 I remember everything in normal colors. I never thought the colors in those old, primitive polaroids especially looked remotely normal.

When people use photos and similar as a memory aid, their actual memory gets overwritten with their perceptions from the memory aid, until their memory resembles the picture, instead of the picture helping them recall the memory accurately.
