@SurvivedChaos No one has all the answers and when it comes to self-analysis, we never can. We're always learning and discovering ourselves and just when we're sure we finally understand, we've change. π
@opie The interactions I find most difficult is when I support the conclusion, but the premise is based on incorrect data, claims or assumptions. There's one of my math teacher's voices in my head saying, "Show your work!". It's just not enough to have the right answer. π€·ββοΈ
@FreeRangers At least you'll know the new user that follows you isn't a bot. π
@lovesdaryl @VelvetDuchess I should be clear: Gerrymandering is just another way to cheat their way to keeping themselves in, naturally.
I'll leave you all and #CoSoMusic with this perfect Chevelle cover of Black Boys on Mopeds by SinΓ©ad O'Connor.

@OldDude71 He apparently adores Hitler, too. He was giddy for his English translation of Mein Kampf to arrive so he could finally figure out the secrets to his struggles, like drinking water and preventing toilet paper from sticking to the bottom of his shoes. π
I don't need to go to the gym daily. I get enough excercise fighting my wife and 3 cats to keep a shred of covers to sleep with.
@Casandra How could there possibly be anything less flattering than what DeSantis already does publically? π
@phase Enjoy it if you enjoy it. It's pretty crazy that it's taken so long to make progress for less-dangerous drugs than the ones that have been legal for decades. It has a lot to say in regard to personal freedoms as well. Let people choose their lives. If they're not hurting anyone, just let them be.
@lovesdaryl @VelvetDuchess Definitely. The people decide, but when they vote Republicans in, even if you're Blue and you complain to your Republican Senator, they're just going to ignore you. It's a cycle Republicans use over and over once the get into power. Lie, cheat, win the election; Ignore, control, use their position to change laws in their favor, and win again. It's disgusting, frankly.
@VelvetDuchess @lovesdaryl Each state has to have laws against gerrymandering. The manipulation of district within a given state is by definition a state issue, as you can't gerrymander across state lines. If you could, that would be Federal jurisdiction. It's why the pot shops in Cali just laughed at the drug feds - they didn't sell pot across state lines and it's legal to sell it in Cali, and is therefore not a crime and not actionable. They shut them down - they pop up again, legally.
@VelvetDuchess @lovesdaryl No argument here. ;)
@VelvetDuchess It's State-level, not Federal, but you're right that it should be outlawed, nonetheless.
@natharari @VelvetDuchess Arnold is the only Republican I like.
brought to you by the delicious b&w cookie I just ate...
@opie Lol. Just another drinking song by Smile Empty Soul!!
@opie Nice response!
Hmm. Short display name field. I'm Daniel.
It's pronounced "Dace-Vhite-za" if you're wondering.
