'Could a giant void explain the universe’s expansion?' ....

I thought this was very interesting, read it to my husband (who's much more knowledgeable regarding physics & astronomy) and he agreed with me. Thought I'd share it here as well. What do you all think?

@Dreamnghrt Um... we actually DO live in a big bubble of void... 🤷 This is not news. Astronomers are well aware of this. It's at the scale of galaxy clusters and is one reason life is possible here. Most galaxies are closer together which makes them much more hostile to life.

This article is nonsensical. Is it really trying to explain away the expansion this way?! I can't put it into the proper words but it's like arguing hot water is the cause of the color purple. Again, it's nonsensical.

@Dreamnghrt Can I just say this? It feels like the author knows there's a void and is setting up their readers to think that if a void is found then that will justify their ideas and research. This has all the hallmarks of deception and misinformation to me. I have no idea as to the author's motive though. Something is very, very wrong here. Don't believe anything they say.
