Arrgh! For whatever reason, one of my meds didn't get refilled by mail from the VA. And, of course, it's the only one that if I miss a day of it really lays me out.

So I made the 2-hour, 30 mile trip to the VA hospital to fill it manually. Now, they're telling me "it was refilled by mail".

No. No it wasn't. Give it to me! Or, we can wait about 8 hours and I'll get some in the ER - if I make it to the ER alive.

They're giving me the refill.

And yes, I did come here just to rant.

Because besides making my tremors worse, causing a migraine, and raising my blood pressure: not having that medication makes me grumpy.

Now hitch those pants up, get a haircut, and get off my lawn!😅

@danalan

If you have a urgent care or CVS minute clinic near you, they can usually dispense an emergency supply when you bring in your med bottle, depending on your state. If it's a controlled drug, you may be out of luck.

I know it doesn't help you now, but maybe it'll save you a 2 hour drive in the future. I'm glad they gave you your meds. I've had luck with the VA pharmacy for similar issues 🩷

@danalan I wish I could get results that easily!
