Took advantage of the cooler temps yesterday to make one of my most popular sweet treats! My peanut butter cheesecake truffles!

Made some Jaegerschnitzel on a Monday night! Fried pork cutlets in a scratch-made mushroom and onion gravy...added my own variation of German potato salad with roasted potatoes, kewpie mayo and spicy brown mustard. It'll make you say "Jawohl!" ๐Ÿ˜

Made an impromptu trip to Austin last Saturday for some cookbook hunting, but of course I had to stop by an old favorite: the Draught House! (Under toasty heaters naturally)

Pictured are two of my favorite in house brews: hop gold and red planet!

Post wurstfest brunch. Using leftover Costco ready-made drummies, I made chicken croquettes with a bit of Tony Chachere's, and some kewpie Sriracha mayo! Rajesh approves!

It's my day off, so I made chai French toast for brunch on a gloomy morning. I used chai spice in the custard mix. Rajesh loved it! Don't forget some real maple syrup!

Sipping on this excellent coffee roasted by my buddy in San Diego with Four Cups Club

Easily my new favorite!

Time for I suppose

As my bio would indicate, I'm into cooking, linguistics, anime, music (punk/metal/blues/electronica are my favorite main genres), and travel...

...but I also enjoy seeing other people's insights on science, culture, history, art, activism, and clever shitposts, among others

Might as well share a dish I like to make, here's some swordfish chimichurri:
