Mastodon over Mammon - Towards publicly owned scholarly knowledge
Mastodon: a move to publicly owned scholarly knowledge
@kel Nonsense. I run a private financial services instance of Mastodon on AWS. If @th3j35t3r shuts down, corrupts, or sells CoSo it has no effect whatsoever on me or my instance of Mastodon.
@countZZero You can decide to sell your instance at any time, and whoever you sell it to may not be as altruistic as you.
Pawoo wasn't the first, and they won't be the last.
And apologies for being blunt, but CoSo isn't Mastodon. @th3j35t3r
