I like this rating scale, useful for all kinds of things.
We assume the 10-point scale is relatively straightforward, but below is a short guide as to how we view the numbers. All review scores are whole points.

@corlin - and a marketer version:
0-5: detractor - doesn't like the product and won't come back, may actively speak against it publicly.
6: borderline - well begrudgingly use it. A customer that will bail given the opportunity
7-9: supporter - happy with the product
10: evangelist - will try to bring you more customers for free
