@corlin beautiful words for a magical friendship. I use to write a long time ago.

She picked me..

We met on an old logging road, hiking in opposite directions. Her from the south, I from the north. I was resting on an old stump, when she walked up sat down next to me. I offered her some water. We sat there in silence for about 20 min. Her first words to me were, "Are you feeding the crows?" and I handed her the bag of nuts.

After about a half an hour more, she asked me for my address (snail mail), said she wanted to write a letter to me.

@corlin crow friends are my best friends. That’s a sweet story. The universe has a unique way of whispering, huh? . @LlamaMountainStudioArts

Someday it will happen.

My best friend has a saying. It's in Tamazight (Berber), but roughly translated:

"Survive, for when your granddaughter is married, and the silver moon colors your hair.
You will know nature's compassion, and receive the gifts due your work"

( her mother was poor Berber, her father French. She was born and raised in Algeria.)
