So in my time off the net I went visiting my best friend.
She brought to my notice Nesrine.
Singer/composer/cellist Nesrine sings in French, Arabic and English and her songs are full of Algerian grooves and engaging harmonies. The first thing you notice is her beautiful voice, with its emotional directness.
(My best friend was born in Algeria of a Berber mom, and a French dad.)
