Having a bad night.
It happens. I'm old, or at least feeling old tonight. Overwhelmed by memories. Yep the bad ones. I figure that about ¼ of my total memories are bad ones and about ¼ are really good ones, and the rest are all the normal boring ones. Yet spinning the Rolodex of my memory, seems tonight to be coming up with all the bad stuff. The content is unimportant, it is my reactive emotions to these thoughts.
Not asking for help, nor advice.

@corlin I've always referred to it as brain weather for myself as well. Somedays are storming, sometimes it's drizzle, and sometimes it's calm but always it changes.

@corlin understood, we all have nights like that.
Remember, Kids.
Equanimity is not feeling numb.
Knowing that your mind is the sky and feelings are just the weather.
Your feelings are real. But just transient phenomena. They like the weather, change, and are not permeant.
Equanimity is the mental practice of dressing for inclement weather.
