Well I just got a call, that the emergency warming shelters have been activated in the town near me. (Salem Oregon)

Over the years I have volunteered for this service, but I had to decline tonight, as the roads are bad. Yes, it is plowed all the way into town but my eyesight is not what it used to be and I don't like driving at night in the snow. Mild cataracts.

If you can please volunteer at your local shelter. It really helps.
