Morning walk about.

A good 14" of snow in the clearings.
But much less under the Fir trees.
The crunch of the surface, reminds me to go slow, and pick my steps with care. Not quite snowshoe drifts. Yet thankful of high boots, good crampons, and waterproof over pants.

Today will be the last snowfall, for at least 2 weeks. So I go out and stomp around in it.
