Customer service:
I did a stint as a customer service representative for amazon dot com way back in the day when Amazon was just branching out of books only. I worked at the European desk, graveyard West Coast time. In those days, Amazon, was a fantastic place to work as a customer service rep because we had total control to give away the store in order to make the customer happy.
They had not yet become the evil they are today. But even then people would start off yelling at me. I would politely tell them they could keep the wrong item, and I would expedite ship the correct item at no cost. "Leave every call with a happy person." Was the sign on the cubicle wall. Remember those days. When Amazon had real competition.
