The eruption in Iceland has greatly diminished. Some numbers:
At the onset, (Monday night), it was putting out approximately 300 cubic meters per second, of lava. That's a lot, you could fill an Olympic size swimming pool in eight seconds. Now lava flow is approximately 10 cubic meters per second, or about 4 minutes.
