@corlin I'm a DV survivor. I can tell you, finding shelters like this isn't the norm in my experience. Out of 3 that I was in, only 1 came close. They are terminally under staffed & funded. That 1 can make the difference between getting away or going back. Thank you Beau for your support.

@corlin Add some kids in there too. #domesticviolence is so heartbreaking. Usually a generational tragedy. Hard to believe someone you love so much & DEPEND on, could hurt you like that. Fucks you up. Getting away is so hard. But get away you must. My bestie was Murdered by her abusive husband. He stabbed her right in her heart, literally. Its real folks. There is #evil among us.
