ExxonMobil posted record-eviscerating annual profits for 2022, with a $55.7 billion windfall revealed in the fossil fuel giant’s final quarterly report for the year on Tuesday.
Chevron, too, netted its largest profit ever, as reported to investors last week. The oil company raked in $35.5 billion, eclipsing its previous 2011 record of $29.6 billion.
