Tourism industries around the world are flourishing again after a pandemic slowdown, but not all places are benefitting from the boom. Over-tourism and environmental concerns have made some spots a bad idea to visit.

what kind of scale are you looking at. like off the grid living for your own home? camping? something else?

I have well water.
Raw it is not terribly bad.
And basically a three step filtering process. Two at the well head, and one in house.
The first is activated charcoal, sand, rock salt.
Step two is an Ozonator. That adds ozone into and through the water.
That gets pumped up to storage tank. And gravity feed to all the structures.
Showers, and waste, use that.
Inside, for drinking, cooking, and coffee, most use another micropore plus charcoal.
We have water rights which in reality are only good until someone else wants them.
Note:
In Ukraine, It is all about water. If the the UKR shuts down the north Crimea canal, this spring. millions of people will flee, famine.
