Time doesn’t flow like a river. So why do we feel swept along?

"Change in the world appears to flow smoothly because our perceptual systems transform moving objects in the same way they do static frames of Jackie Chan: they superimpose a dynamism on to them that they do not possess."

Sometimes, Time is* a river. Some times, it's a torrent, storm, hurricane, while other times.. just a lake... Mood, man, mood 😃

@artemis

Yep.
All of what you think is real, is a fiction created between your ears.

Even the YOU thinking.

@corlin
Even me? :--) That's actually comforting, if i think about it. LOL

@artemis

Ok that was a bit snarky.

I am not denying objective reality.
What I am saying is, that what you think you perceive as reality, is like walking in a dark room with only a red laser pointer as your only illumination.
