The main reason I hate the time change....I am at work, and believe it or not, the 52 cameras that I keep an eye on, DO NOT set the time back....
I have to go in and change each one manually....
I wrote a script to do this ..but the cameras system software won’t let me run it.

These cameras are LAN only, for reasons. No outside connections.
The whole system is run on proprietary hardware, and locked down well.
But damn it the underlying system is just Linux.
One fucking line of code. Not even a large line of code.
This could have been soooo. easy.
But no... the support people say that change would entail a site visit. At $500.00 an hour.

Great news....
The security camera system had an update, no one told me. Cameras time stamps all updated, at 0200. I was about to start manual updating, and off load the extra hour of recording, so not to confuse the system.... when bam they all changed.
Typically the service IT guys did not tell anyone they did this.....
But it sure makes my shift easier.
