I think threating a candidate is a federal offense, and the Secret Service take this very seriously.
Of course the SS are known to be very tight lipped about their investigations.

@corlin I do not think anyone on the bus was under secret service protection. mainly staffers, and one extra car. From some reports there was a convoy of Trump truck supporters following it around and harassing it.
The fact that local law enforcement seem to be doing nothing is horrid

@corlin I saw someone on the twit say the SS subjects weren't on the bus. i guess just campaign staffers.
