I am in town for one night, and the people I am staying with said, "Just relax we are going to cook dinner.
Just look in this book, and find a couple of dishes. We will do the rest."

Damn I am lucky.
Have you ever heard of Tassajara ?
It was, and still is this magical place.
Started in '67 I visited a few times in the late '70's.
The author of this book was the head cook at Tassajara, on and off for years.
He also has a world famous bread book.

@corlin I donβt think I had heard of Tassajara, but sounds lovely.
@corlin @yogapaddlerun Never been to Tassajara, but was a practicing lay Soto Zen Buddhist for 10 years.
Do you know of Joko Beck ?
Although I studied Theravada, in northern Thailand.
When I came back to the states. I met Joko, on an informal basis.
A very wonderful teacher.
@corlin @yogapaddlerun I do. I may have met her once.
@corlin @yogapaddlerun One of my favorite Zen experiences was meeting Taz Kanahashi, a well-known artist famous for his one stroke art. Watching him paint was bliss. I have an original Taz creation in my home. ππ
@corlin Just the name is fabulous π₯°
