i am just remembering an idea i learned in group therapy, to have a playlist to use in times of crisis, as a reset button.

just a short playlist (3-5 songs) you keep on your phone to pull you out of a spiral, or to jumpstart a new attitude when things are going sour.

the lovely older lady who taught me this used gospel hymns for hers.....mine is metal.

but this idea really works for me. might work for you, too.
