I am in desktop and dark mode, today an "important information" announcement/column is showing up on the far right, but it's very bright (seems like it's not following my dark mode setting?) I like things dark.
Is it just me? 🙂

Microsoft KB5022842 update for Windows Server 2022 will cause #VMware VMs with Secure Boot enabled to not boot - securely or otherwise.
Yikes.
I threw together a quick #PowerCLI script to identify which VMs in my environment might be impacted (just a couple hundred!).

Photograph of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) taken on 29 December 1888 with an exposure of 4 hours. Dr Isaac Roberts, an amateur astronomer and pioneer astrophotography, took this image using a 20 inch aperture reflecting telescope. Made by Howard Grubb of Dublin, the telescope was first installed at his home near Liverpool. This is the first photograph to show the spiral nature of this nearby galaxy.

Want to help me mess w/Netflix's algorithms? As I understand it, they register any film/series episode watched for more than a couple minutes as watched.
2 Guns, based on my work, debuted on Netflix today. If you have Netflix, do me a favor, & run the thing for a bit, even if you don't want to watch the whole film. It'll be of great use to me. (& who knows, you might decide to watch till the end). Thanks.

Even if you use "anonymized" data and pay with cash, you'll still probably need a facial recog confuserizer. Which I guess is one thing that COVID has somewhat normalized.

Yep, I've posted Ambrosia before, and today's pick is another of theirs. Partly because my brain is an absolute sucker for songs in 3/4 time, but also because it's such a beautiful song and deserves to be heard more often. To illustrate, You're the Biggest Part of Me has a Spotify plays/playlist score of 73,551,966, while today's pick is 176,587.
