Okay, I'm changing the rules of today's game, in defence of a much maligned and sometimes VERY USEFUL word.

(With thanks to @duglop for catching me up on the Sunday sillies here.)

I'm thinking this would be a movie about a brief reprieve from drought in otherwise hard times in the 1800s! A season when little western towns could relax a bit - crops fine, cattle safe - and focus on enriching their relationships with one another instead. The saloon full of mirth! A few prospectors striking it rich. A sense of promise and opportunity in the air.

Good call, Scott. :) This would be a happy little melodrama of a piece.

That must have been made right after...

The Good Moist, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good Moist, The Bad Moist, and The Ugly Moist!

New Mexico, 1862. A brief reprieve of rain in a hard summer almost turns things around for wayward varmints trying to collect on a bounty and word of lost wartime treasure. But bad blood's arisen from the earth as well--a ruthless hunter on their tail--and there'll be ugly times ahead, if our plucky treasure seekers don't get to where the good, moist dirt ends first. πŸ‘Œ
