Another day nears it end...
The days, the weeks, the months and the years all seem to pass more quickly now.

@cjtownsend it's not just you. When I was six-ish, waiting two weeks for a $4.95 real-log cabin to arrive by mail was an utter eternity. Now that I'm sixty-ish, time flies like a canoe over Niagara; science says we old folks no longer have the demarcations of significant events transpiring, so no way to differentiate today from yesterday. So it goes.
Epilog: the log cabin was just a piece of plastic to be put on a card table. That's when distrust of the world took hold, never to relent.
