Eye doctor appointment today. An hour of “is this better or worse, shaper or more blurry”. Not as bad as a regular doctor appointment but still time consuming and expensive. I am fortunate that these doctors do their best to not wipe your savings clean. One advantage of living in an economically depressed area, they expect you to not have a lot of money.

Al’s decided to giv him the heartworm protection shot that’s good for 6 months. Given my tendency to forget I figured it would be a better choice to him getting heartworm. Poor little guy is not feeling well. It started a few hours after his appointment. He doesn’t want to be on my lap, he seems very uncomfortable but he’s showing peeks of his normal self this morning so I’m less freaked out. He never had a reaction to his shots, the new one must have pushed it.

Chicago SunTimes and Tribune both have front page headlines of, “TRUMP GUILTY!”. USA Today, nothing. Now I don’t care where you stand on this, that verdict is worthy of front page headlines.

I just got done trying to figure out registering for Okta for my MSU account. Their instructions were clear as mud. In their defense though I’m going on 3 hours sleep and my ability to focus is in the negatives. Still, they always made things more difficult than they needed to be.

Woke up to a thunderstorm, supposed to storm most of the day which means we’ll either be extremely busy or extremely slow today at work. I’m guessing I’ll be busy with beer sales since it’s weather that’s not good for much beyond watching television and drinking beer.

It will be a pain keeping the floors clean.

ISP’s need to create an algorithm that automatically blocks emails from senders with more than one period in their handle. They do that shit and I’m getting spam from the same damn shithead multiple times a day. Comcast is the worst at being able to block spam. I need to start using my MSU account, I think that might maybe, be better. I just hate the idea of changing my email on all those accounts I have.

So, got an email from Medicare telling me they cover many mental health services. Wonder what they’re trying to tell me.

We have a new person learning to close at work, I didn’t even realize she had reversed the positions of the regular and decaf urns until a customer asked about it. I’m too old for this shit.
