Finally got rid of the subzero temps, today and tomorrow we have freezing rain. Already 1/8 of an inch of ice out there.

Dam, freezing rain. I wanted to go to the weed store.

Up to a whole -11, -34 wind chill. Car started, let it run for 20 minutes per mechanic brother’s suggestion so it’ll continue to start when it’s time to leave for work.

Not saying it’s cold here but according to The Weather Channel it’s -14 degrees outside. It feels like -39. Sure hope the car will start, I have to work today.

Just an FYI, if you’re unfriending me over something I said, I’m cool with that. But a snarky comment before you leave will only puzzle me, not hurt my feelings or give me anything to think about because I don’t know what I did wrong, therefore I cannot correct it if I wish to. So tell me so I can correct the behavior if I so wish.

This town has sirens that go off at random times every day. Maybe not Sunday, I don’t remember if they go off on Sundays. It’s always a different time, I have seen no rhythm or reason, no pattern. It reminds me of the sirens the mines used to use to signal shift change when I was a kid.

It’s almost 7:30am and because it’s raining it’s still rather dark outside. If I wasn’t working it would be a good day to stay in bed.

Has Skechers decided to do away with laced athletic shoes? I was looking and the few they have are in sizes almost nobody wears and all the rest of the shoes are slip ons.

I’m going to have to find a new shoe that fits my weird feet, that I can’t destroy in a month, aren’t I.

So can anyone explain to me why the “pro-life “ crowd that claims to care SO much about life, has nothing to say about the already birthed life we seem to be ok murdering off because they’re inconvenient and “scary”? And make no mistake, if they go after these encampments people will die simply because there is a bit more safety in numbers than in going it alone.

Snow all around us on radar and we’re in a big old purple dot, freezing rain. I hate freezing rain, freezing rain means lots and lots of wrecker calls because idiots just can’t ever stay home. They gotta go shopping.
