I am not a person who normally wakes up talking. I need some time to acclimate to the state of awakeness. My neighbor, not so much. He wakes up with full conversations on his lips. I don’t think his mind stops at all to sleep. This morning I was granted access to his ideas for selling his collection of Monopoly games and the $1000 bike he just repaired. Divorce is expensive.
Anyone want a house? It’s going up for sale soon or for auction if the bank so chooses. I do hope no Trumper buys it.
Stay inside until you find your voice. Does he come into your house? Why can’t you avoid him?
@LnzyHou Because our backyards are connected. They are divided by a 4 foot chain link fence but we can’t not see each other when we’re in our perspective back yards. I’m fine with ignoring him but he won't ignore me. He will start talking even if I don’t talk. I could be brutally honest with him and tell him I don’t want to talk but to be honest, that’s not in my nature and I’m not sure it would stop him from talking. He just really has to talk. I find it’s just easier to stay inside.
@LnzyHou Sad but I think the problem is as much me as it is him. I’m a person who needs alone time, even more so because I have to work with the public several days a week (more right now as we are severely short staffed). I’ve always been this way, even as a child I remember going into the wooded area behind the house for some peace. He is a person who needs to be with others. Just different personality types. Sad is his being outdoors all the time has cost him his marriage.
