I traveled far into the future. I asked survivors what happened. They told me of the bloody wars of mankind over the truth of ancient history. Which of the accounts were true? Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel, The Lord of the Rings? Even within sects there was in continuous infighting. I explained that these were stories to entertain, sometimes teach a lesson, but none really happened. I barely made it back alive! It's good to back in our enlightened age where people aren't so gullible and hateful.
This may sound weird, but there are few things as satisfying as learning how to successfully navigate the mass transit systems of strange cities.
I'm back from vacation and I'm sorry to see the world is just as stupid as I left it.
Is it my fault? Was everything pure bliss the three weeks I was gone?
Time travel return initiated. See you yesterday.
Pandora opened the box. Out came misery, out came death, out came sadness. All that remained in the box was Hope, but Pandora got that out with a scouring pad and was left with a perfectly good box.

They say misery loves company, which is why I always drink until I see double.

When people ask me where something is I tell them Earth. People like that.
Come on, there are over 100 billions planets in the Milky Way galaxy alone. I think 'Earth' is plenty specific.
