@dratino I go to DragonCon and New York Comic Con almost every year and I recommend them both, although they are each very different types of cons.

@chaos440 there were some small conventions at the university I went to in the 90s but I imagine they are nothing like a full con today

@dratino I've been to some small cons, but yes, these cons are in a whole different league. Dragon Con typically has over 90K attendees, NYCC over 150K. Dragon Con is big on cosplay. It's basically a weekend long costume party.
