On MSNBC I'm hearing a lot of discussion about these fake electors planning a defense that they were only responding to "directions from higher ups". Is that even plausible as a defense? Wasn't that tactic dubbed "The Nuremberg Defense" more than 70 years ago?...I was just following orders...

They’re saying they have no will of their own, no moral center, no ability to distinguish right from wrong. No adult with an ounce of pride should want people to think of them that way.
