The #Project2025 plan to gut #SocialSecurity and #Medicare should terrify all Americans regardless of age. If you’re “young” and “healthy” and shrugging it off, please consider how you’d ever pay off your student debt, buy a home, start a business, put your kids through college, or save for retirement with your parents and in-laws dependent on YOU for their housing, medical care, and other expenses. A great nation doesn’t leave its elders to drown in destitution after a lifetime of hard work.
@cassandra17lina ah, if i were a young person and my parents or grandparents voted for trump, i would let them live the dream they voted for. it's not on me to support them b/c they voted to make sure we all got fucked.
so no, not my job to keep them from drowning. i can feel sorry for them but i don't have to take them on. actions have consequences. they will learn theirs. we all will suffer thanks to them.
