This is one of several chunks of amethyst that I accumulated over the years and gave to my friend who is a believer in the healing power of crystals. She is also a Reiki practitioner. She attended a wellness event for alternative healers last week. The organizers were shocked at how few practitioners attended. The reason that some of them gave for staying away? They are too emotionally depleted after the election to heal anyone and need to focus on healing themselves first.
