Please let me not get too excited about the huge voter turnout in first days. I need to keep that hope from bubbling up too much.

@elbutterfield 353,166 folks voted in Day One of North Carolina’s early voting. Tracking the wait times at the six polling stations in my county, and they’re comparable to yesterday’s. As a scientist, I realize that’s a very small sampling of data but as a Cassandra, I can assure you that we will see record breaking voter turnout this year across America.
