@dauphin87 In the 1970s, the college I attended was experiencing a series of rapes and sexual assaults attributed (without evidence) to the local “townies” because surely our gentlemanly male students would never… A group of male students formed a team to escort female students around campus at night and back to their dorms to ensure their safety, just as rapists would probably do. I redoubled my efforts at Shotokan Karate class and served as my own protector.
