This very nice pond behind our house was filling with rain during our epic “Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight” event today, faster than its stormwater outlets could function and it overflowed its banks, adding to the ponded water in our yard. I’ve never seen anything like that in 13 years living here in North Carolina. #Weather #Flooding

@cassandra17lina Not been as bad here. Steady rain but nothing outrageous. Not sure where the deck umbrella went, though
