I had a 910 area code phone number when I lived in Fayetteville. Is that phone number the one that supposedly sent the message? It's a screen capture from Jan 6, 2021? The person who sent that (or programmed the automated scam call) is obviously not Ted Cruz but regardless should be hung by their toes for a few minutes.
@Priestess I have a 910 area code too, that’s why I was suspicious, but spammers often spoof our local numbers to get us to answer their calls and texts. Who would want to impersonate Ted Cruz?
I have limited my exposure to MAGA siblings to texts. It’s just not worth it to battle.
