Usually I toss my old pumpkins into the woods behind my house for animals to enjoy, but now that I have a motion-activated backyard camera, I’ve left them on my patio thinking that might create some cinematic content. Nothing so far after a few days other than a cat knocking one over.

@cassandra17lina You might try poking holes in some/all of them, so they can access the seeds inside more easily (and smell them stronger too.)

Yeah, they'll get "ripe" quicker that way too, which will bring deer and shyer critters. In a real hurry, dab a little peanut butter or suet on them.
