Unless we #VoteBlue in the 2022 #Midterms in numbers too enormous to manipulate, #Republicans WILL phase out #SocialSecurity and #Medicare. If you just shrug that off because you’re “young” and you’re not in need of those programs, imagine how you’d ever pay off your student loans, save for a house, start a business, put your kids through college, pursue your personal interests, or retire in comfort with your parents (and in-laws) relying on you for their housing and medical care. #VoteBlue2022
@cassandra17lina You can't even do that *now* because of the GOP manipulating the fund to give themselves and corps tax breaks. If SS is your only source of income, you learn very quickly to ease back on meals and other necessities. And climate change has added another whole world of hurt to these people. I'll keep saying this until people listen (not you): Seniors AREN'T disposable.
