This week at work was interesting. Meeting with a coworker about trying to help him fix an issue, identified a big issue that need to be fixed.
Friday, submitted to a a trusted coworker my plan to fix problem, volunteering myself for a promotion along side creating a new team to fix the issue and got 2 team members lined up for the project.
Monday morning, might have to make some revisions, and it gets pitched to the CTO in the afternoon. 🤞
@2Echo68Whiskey 18 years later and I still love this song, still singing every time I hear it, and I still swear that I would gladly watch the "movie" this is a trailer for.
So today I looked up my bio-dad for the first time in a long time.
He sent me a Facebook message that got filtered and I never responded. Was checking my filtered messages and saw him and clicked it out of just bored curiosity. He's not dead.
I might have a half brother and a half sister who I do not know and don't know me.
And I collosally don't really care. I have no desire to talk to him or anything and I can't help but wonder if I should care?
But the introduction of Leon, the first scene he is in. He's lying in bed. When the alarm goes off. He smacks the alarm off and honest to God. The first word he says with waking up is "Fuck".
This moment spoke to my soul.
As soon as I am able, I will make that a gif, and if someone else has it or can find it, please send it to me.
So, wife and I finally sat down to watch the new resident evil movie. She absolutely loves the games and I have enjoyed watching her play them. She is a bigger fan than I ever probably will be but, for a video game movie, I thought it was overall pretty decent and enjoyable.
She hated a lot of the changes to some characters but she also said it could have been much worse.
End of the year is upon us, and the past couple months been one hell of a ride. Coming down with covid, buying and moving into a new house, twisting my ankle while doing so, having to deal with the problems in a new house and on top of all of that Christmas with two boys.
But first Christmas in the new house was a success overall, and hopefully tomorrow we will fix one of the big outstanding issues (busted water heater). Here's hoping for things to start getting better (knock on wood)
