I spent about 5 years working at a company that revolved around cataloging, monitoring, summarizing, and even clipping news casts. National and local news casts from around the country. Since then I don't watch news very much. But these days, I feel I have to and it just makes me sicker and sicker. I hate it.

Both. Content honestly isn't worse so much as... for lack of a better phase dumber. The discourse in TV news, news paper, many online services, have just taken a rave to the bottom in terms of what they cover, what they tolerate, and what is worthy of screen time. And the news from 45 and the government in general lately isn't helping.
@carver That is so disheartening. There are a few that okay. Shep at Fox seems okay?
