Twice now, in about a month, my eldest has tried his damned best to fall for a giveaway scam through TikTok.

Luckily he knows enough to talk to me before trying to actually engage with most of these. But he then wants to argue that it's legit when I tell him that it's pretty much almost guaranteed to be a scam.

It's getting rough out there

@carver Just let him fall for it, then. If he's arguing with you over the legitimacy of it AFTER CALLING YOU TO AVOID GETTING SCAMMED, then let him get fleeced. There's only so much you can do before you hit "Eh, he'll figure it out" territory.
