I have wondered a lot about what keeps people from speaking out about injustices. I think most people want to lead quiet lives until they have been broken by injustice and that most people don’t consider themselves role models or necessarily want to be. That fear and conditioning keep them from speaking up until it becomes something they can no longer ignore.

Then there are the sociopaths, who simply don’t care. Most of those work in politics.

I think we are headed for a mess,to be followed by a Renaissance, a period where folks celebrate & DEMAND once again, the freedoms lost in fear after 911. The un-Patriot Act, the NDAA, etc. Art, literature, cultural sharing... all will become valued again

Absolutely. If you don't believe me, look at the villainization of the Parkland kids. They dared speak out, so they must be brainwashed by Parents and the "Liberal Media™", or maybe they're "Crisis Actors". Used as an example of "Bad Behavior".
The message is clear, "Step out of line, we will RUIN you."

MLK was right. The Estab knows how to handle violence in the streets. But they have never figured out how to handle peaceful protests.

@AirRation yes, they are magical. It's hard to describe even with photos. From the outside it looks like that but then inside from the dark with the sun behind it TOTALLY different. Even the sounds in there the dripping and rushing water. Like photos are only half of it.
