Tomorrow morning, I head in for eye surgery.
I'm more than a bit nervous. I've always relied heavily on my eyes, as I had been a prodigious reader and writer.
Positive thoughts appreciated for the process, healing, and outcome. I'm assured it is quick and easy.

@BlueStateBabe Huge trust, in the hands of professionals. But I have known at least 6 that have had such surgeries and all have been happy with the results. Will think of you & add my prayers. (and my husband faces one soon for glaucoma)

Yes, everybody says it is a short and sweet experience. I'm gonna hold them to that !
Seeing to drive without glasses (after the 2nd operation) will be crazy. I've worn glasses since I was 6 years old. Of course, close and mid range will still need correction. And it will be the "flip" of what I have now - farsightedness instead of extreme nearsightedness.
Lots of changes coming up!
Best thoughts for your husband's eye surgery as well. 😀
