I still never want #MikePence as our president, but I'll be darned if, after hearing the way he stood up to the Orange Menace's crazy ideas for #January6 I don't feel a bit of admiration for the guy. I mean, he had to know that his boss man was going to react badly (to put it very mildly) if he did something like that, as unhinged as he was already showing himself to be! Pence put himself in harm's way to protect democrats, republicans, and all of us by defying that order. #hearings

@Irishroze I hope that your vascular specialist is able to diagnose the issue and find a painless or close-to-painless solution for you. I know the vascular system of the legs can be the devil's playground as we get older. I started showing signs of issues in my late 20s, but I get it from both sides of both sides of my family!

@Qapla May you have the same. Sounds like we in Southcentral Michigan can look forward to a bit of a cool down for the weekend before returning to scorching heat next week. I hope you get similar reprieve where you are.

@JoyfullyDazed Two of my classmates wanted this to be played at our commencement, another wanted "I Made It through the Rain" by Barry Manilow--even though a musical genius classmate had written a beautiful song for us that she wanted to play and sing at commencement. Fortunately, enough classmates voted for the original song that Janna got to sing at commencement, though she was so emotional/nervous her voice quivered through the entire performance. I wouldn't have been able to sing or play.

@JeffreyMHebert That's kinda like my brother telling the playground monitors he was allowed to walk across the top of the swingsets and go down the jungle gym's firepoles head first because there weren't rules against those two actions in the rule book. (Did I mention he refuses to believe he's on the autism spectrum?) Let's just say that my brother had two playground rules created because of him, though he has never been credited.

And I can now shut my stupid medication alarm up! I already took that med, so having the alarm go off every 15 minutes since 8am has gotten annoying!

I wasn't tapping the volume buttons in sequence fast enough in the force reboot effort. Story of my life: "You're not fast enough." *sigh* Well, at least we solved the problem in short order, and I have my iPhone returned to me! I don't have beaucoup bucks to spend on repairs or a new one! Thanks to all who gave suggestions!
